“It’s better late than never”
I found that having the right learning environment is a key to my achievement.Learning space is important for many reasons. It helped me to increase my Attention,Motivation and Curiosity. Choose a peaceful environment where you find comfort and no distractions.
Not restricting the expectation on your result is a crucial point to be noted.Do not compromise your capability instead focus upon Achieving 9As and 9As only. Personally this motivated me to keep going. Always have trust on you and remember no one is incompetent
Whenever you feel low or whenever you feel dull, just imagine a future picture of you and your family in a way in which you’ve achieved good results…How satisfying and joyful will it be? At the same time think of it vice versa. This thought will definitely inspire you.
Managing your time, elevates your focus and productivity. Initiate your day with an effective planning like, on which subject and content to be focused on that particular day. If you find something hard don’t stick onto it for a longer time. Just move on to the part which you find easy and interesting, and gain the maximum from it so that it may help you to cover up the segments which you feel are hard .Schedule and spend your time adequately so that you won’t be having a rush prior to the exam.
Morning study is incredibly better than late night studies. Science advises you to study between the hours of 4am and 7am, Which I personally followed. This period is best for deep focus and attention. Some prefer late night studies which is alright but at the same time consider your sleep routine as well which is also influential. Find a study routine that works best for you and stick to it.
Following healthy habits plays a major role as most of the times it may manipulate you during your exams.Go to sleep early and get enough of good sleep, Drink plenty of water prior to studying and while studying , which helps you to stay focused , hydrated and boosted. Reduce your screen time which can lead to problems like sleep disturbance, anxiety, physical strain to your eyes and body etc…
Maintain a correct seated posture which gives you a kind of confidence when studying.
Having a break in between studies improves your focus, concentration and it refreshes your brain. Spend some time with your family and friends, spend time with nature, especially do what makes you happy and relaxed.
Try following the POMODORO technique which is a time management method that breaks down tasks into intervals, Traditionally 25 minutes separated by a short break of 5 minutes.
Apparently practicing contributes much more to get rid of the fear towards the exam as you are exercised enough to the paper structure and scheme. Practicing past papers is vitally important in the learning process. The most effective way is to mark your own paper which you practiced as it helps to discover the segments where you have to be improved and trained.
Before starting to learn the new content just go through the themes which you learned the previous day , explain it to yourself a little louder and Roughly write or sketch them. This helps the content to retain in your memory for a longer period.
Attaining 9As is not as complicated as you think. As a student, I thought it’s an impossible task but it
turned out to be possible. Just don’t give up,work smarter not harder. It’s never too late, Start
working from now.
